Job Description
We are looking for a highly accomplished Software Engineer Executive to drive the design, development, and execution of our core software products. In this high-impact role, you will combine hands-on elite coding with architectural governance and technical leadership. You will serve as the bridge between technical execution and strategic business goals, ensuring our engineering teams build resilient, highly scalable, and future-proof software systems.
Responsibilities
- Architectural Leadership: Design and implement robust, high-throughput system architectures, microservices, and reusable frameworks across enterprise applications.
- Hands-on Development: Write clean, production-grade, and highly optimized code for critical system modules, setting the benchmark for engineering excellence.
- Technical Governance: Establish, maintain, and enforce coding standards, code review protocols, and architectural patterns across engineering teams.
- Mentorship & Code Quality: Guide, unblock, and mentor mid-to-senior software engineers, fostering a strong culture of continuous technical learning.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Product Managers, DevOps, and Tech Leads to turn complex business requirements into scalable technical roadmaps.
- System Optimization: Identify performance bottlenecks, optimize database queries, and re-engineer legacy components to enhance system efficiency and reduce latency.
Must Have
- Experience: 6+ years of core software engineering experience, with a proven track record of acting as a tech lead or core module owner.
- Technical Stack: Deep expertise in modern back-end or full-stack technologies (e.g., Node.js, Python, Go, Java, React/Next.js) and relational/non-relational databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis).
- System Design: Advanced knowledge of system design patterns, distributed systems, caching strategies, and message brokers (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
- Infrastructure & DevOps: Solid experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and robust CI/CD pipelines.
- Engineering Rigor: Strong commitment to test-driven development (TDD), automated testing frameworks, and deep application monitoring/logging.
Nice to have
- Experience building and scaling high-traffic B2B/B2C SaaS platforms or multi-tenant architectures.
- Hands-on familiarity with serverless computing, edge networks, or implementing AI/LLM API integrations.
- Contributions to open-source software or an active GitHub portfolio showcasing system-level architecture.
